This immersive program is designed for aspiring instructors, fitness professionals, and movement enthusiasts looking to develop the knowledge, confidence, and teaching skills necessary to lead safe, effective, and inspiring Mat Pilates classes.

Our training combines the foundations of classical Pilates with modern and contemporary movement principles, creating a well-rounded approach that prepares graduates to teach a variety of class styles. In addition to traditional Mat Pilates techniques, trainees will learn how to incorporate strength-focused sculpt training, functional movement patterns, and creative sequencing methods that reflect today's evolving fitness landscape.

Throughout the program, students will study:

• Classical Pilates principles and methodology

• Foundational Mat Pilates exercises and progressions

• Pilates anatomy, biomechanics, and movement science

• Proper alignment, posture, and injury prevention

• Modern and contemporary Pilates techniques

• Pilates Sculpt programming and strength-based movement

• Class design, sequencing, and cueing

• Modifications and progressions for various fitness levels

• Teaching methodology and instructor presence

• Music, energy, and class flow development

• Hands-on practice teaching and feedback

In-Person Training Dates:
August 28–30

The in-person intensive weekend will provide hands-on instruction, movement practice, teaching labs, and mentorship from experienced instructors. Additional training hours will be completed through guided self-study, observation, practice teaching, and coursework to fulfill the 100-hour certification requirement.

Upon successful completion of all program requirements, graduates will receive a 100-Hour Mat Pilates Instructor Certification from Spiritual Flow Studio.
